Children typically need basic street hockey gear—including a stick, proper footwear, and safety pads—while ice hockey requires additional equipment such as skates, helmets, and specialized protective gear.

Depending on what is being offered through your Rec Center – leagues and clinics are recommended for 2nd Grade and above.
