Hockey 101 introduces kids to the fundamentals of street hockey through fun, game-based activities designed to build coordination and confidence. Our trained coaches focus on basic stick handling, passing, and teamwork in a supportive environment where every kid gets plenty of playtime and encouragement.

Sign up for one of our upcoming Hockey 101 sessions to give your kid a fun, no-pressure introduction to street hockey with all equipment provided. Registration is quick and easy, with multiple locations and time slots available throughout Salt Lake City to fit your family’s schedule.

Street Hockey FAQs

We have street hockey programs popping up all over the state, check out where you can play.

All you need is a stick and a pair of sneakers. By joining a Street League through a Utah Mammoth partner program, each participant will receive a jersey and stick upon registration. Skates or roller blades are not allowed in our Street Hockey Leagues.

Absolutely! No experience needed, if you want to gain a little more skill and knowledge before or during league play, check out the clinics being offered in a city near you.

Depending on what is being offered through your Rec Center – leagues and clinics are recommended for 2nd Grade and above

Utah Mammoth is partnering with all Utah parks and recreation centers to bring street hockey to you! We will donate all the gear and equipment necessary to play, as well as training resources for coaches and referees. Be sure to connect with your local park and recreation sports director to reach out today!
